NSW Health is advising that all health workers and patients are to wear a mask when attending any medical appointment as tightened restrictions come into effect.
All personalEYES clinics will be implementing the NSW Health directive effective immediately. To protect the health of our patients, staff and visitors a mask must be worn at all times during their visit. We would like to advise that our clinics will reserve the right to move your appointment if there are any non compliance to the health advisory.
During these uneasy times, we strive to protect the health & wellbeing of all our customers, whilst still providing critical services to the community.
We have imposed a number of measures across all personalEYES clinics, Parramatta Eye Centre & Hospital and The Dry Eye Institute:
How we are making it safe for you:
We have stringent hygiene practices that are adhered to daily, and we have put in additional procedures to keep visitors and staff safe.
Non-contact temperature testing for all visitors and staff at our clinics upon arrival
Increased comprehensive cleaning through our certified cleaners, including increased frequency of cleaning for ALL medical equipment and high touchpoint areas throughout the facilities
Hand sanitiser is readily available to patients at all clinics
All staff have completed the Department of Health Infection Control for COVID-19 training, including safe handwashing procedures
All staff have been instructed not to come to work if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms, have travelled in the last 14 days, or have been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19.
We have reduced all non-essential visitors to our clinics, including suppliers, students & sale representatives
All back office services have been moved off-site
Staff have also been advised to avoid non-essential travel and social gatherings
We will closely monitor all available information provided by the Australian Department of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO) in relation to the current situation. We are using this information, and its regular updates to inform the management strategies we develop to prioritize the safety of our patients and employees.
